Organizers of a fundraising golf tournament are overwhelmed by the support they’ve received. The Bill Kilbey Memorial Golf Tournament happens tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club. Kilbey was a Prince George teacher, who died after a 16-year battle with Huntington’s Disease, a rare genetic disorder that leads to the breakdown of the brain’s nerve cells. Proceeds from the tournament are going to the Sacred Heart School library. Registration is now closed, after 74 people signed up — nearly double the number expected by organizers.
