On the corner of Patricia Boulevard and Queensway, there’s a red dress swaying in the wind. Driving by, Terry Teegee pulled over to take a photo, and posted it on facebook. There are several red dresses hanging in Prince George, symbols of missing and murdered women. The idea comes from Winnipeg artist Jaime Black, who started The REDress Project. The idea has struck a chord with people across the country, including here in Prince George. Terry Teegee believes the issue of missing and murdered women should get more attention in the federal election campaign. So far, the NDP has pledged to hold an inquiry, but the others have made no such promise.
