In Prince George Peace River Northern Rockies, Bob Zimmer held on to his seat. The Conservative incumbent won the riding with 47% of the vote. While he was glad to hold onto his seat, Zimmer admitted Canadians wanted change, and that’s why his party has been reduced to official opposition status.
It was a bittersweet night for Liberal candidate Matt Shaw. While his party swept the nation, becoming Canada’s next government, Shaw was disappointed at the result in his riding.
