Alumni of the Hart’s Springwood Elementary School took a trip down memory lane this weekend.
Former students and staff opened a 15 year old time capsule.
Back in 2000 each class contributed something to be put away for a later point in time.
From letters, to homemade videos, and even Pokemon cards, students and staff put away items that meant something to them at the time.
Those who came out this weekend say it’s hard to believe it’s been well over a decade since that point in time.
Michelle O’Donnell says she put a Pokemon card in the time capsule when she was a student and seeing everyone today brought back a lot of memories.
“It’s hard to believe that 15 years has gone by, it really has. Looking around and seeing people you haven’t seen in years. The accomplishments everyone is coming to be, having kids, having families it’s crazy. But it’s so cool at the same time.”
