It’s exam season at UNBC and that means students are feeling the crunch! To help them de-stress, St John’s therapy dogs visited the campus Monday.
Students got a chance to “pet a puppy” and de-stress from all of their exam studying.
Therapeutic Visitation animals visit places such as schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and rehab units, because seeing the dogs often lifts the spirits of people who may have a pet waiting for them at home, or they remember a long lost childhood companion.
St John’s Annie Booth says spending time with animals is a great way for students to unwind.
