Two big items on the docket for Monday night’s council meeting. Mayor and Council are expected to make a decision on requests from a pair of community organizations.
The Prince George Horse Society is asking for a three year break on it’s utility bills. The Horse Society’s annual rent is $1000. In the 2015 utilities were $36,284.
Also on the agenda is the Prince George Agricultural and Historical Association. That association is asking to have a debt of $32, 500 forgiven. The organization is also asking council waive rental fee charges and provide free transit services during the annual British Columbia Northern Exhibition.
The meeting gets underway at 6:00 pm in council chambers.
