Two people are facing numerous charges after breaking into a residence on Upper Fraser Road last week.
On Thursday January 7th, Prince George RCMP received a report of a Break & Enter at a house east of the city.
Officers attended and found that more than a dozen guns had been stolen along with a quantity of cash, binoculars, alcohol, clothing and a GPS system.
The next day, Friday January 8th, General Duty officers executed a Criminal Code search warrant on a residence on Bunce Road in Prince George.
Two people were taken into custody and police located many of the stolen items including 14 rifles.
A Ruger Blackhawk .357 Magnum handgun has not yet been located.
Patrick Ryan Baker, a 28 year old Prince George resident, has been charged by Provincial Crown Counsel with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Break, Enter and Commit an Indictable Offence
- Drive While Prohibited
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking
Baker will be held in custody until his first court appearance scheduled for Monday afternoon.
A 26 year old female Prince George resident was released on a Promise to Appear for court on March 16th, 2016. Police are recommending property and firearms related charges against her.
