Mounties are trying to track down a man who held up the Shell gas station at 5th and Tabor. It happened around 9pm on Saturday. The suspect produced a weapon, and demanded cash and tobacco. Officers say he was wearing a long sleeve black shirt, blue jeans and a black mask. Thankfully the employee was not injured.
Charges have been laid against a Prince George man suspected of carrying out a home invasion. The incident happened yesterday morning around 10. Mounties responded to the home in the 1900 block of Spruce Street. Officers believe the suspect threatened the person inside, and stole a television. 34-year-old Kenneth Michael Wipfli has been charged with robbery, uttering threats, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Wipfli is on the detachment’s list of prolific offenders. The victim was not injured, and officers recovered the TV.
