The Independent Contractors and Businesses Association is donating $25,000 to the College of New Caledonia.
The money will go towards the school of trades and technology. The donation will also give the ICBA five year naming rights to a room at the college.
The ICBA has been around for 40 years, but it’s presence in Northern BC is relatively new.
The organization’s Mike Davis says the funding is a way for the organization to become involved in the local community.
