Prince George athletes of all fitness levels frolicked in the mud Saturday for the Mudd, Sweat, & Tears obstacle race at the Otway Nordic Centre.
The 9.2 kilometre course took about two weeks to put together for the nearly 1200 people who turned out this year. From climbing walls, 40 feet cargo climbs, electric barbwire fence crawls, monkey bars, and balance beams, the event had it all.
Course Builder John Reed mentions it’s a fun way to stay active. “It’s a great fit with cross training, it’s a really nice addition to any running or jogging routine where you get more upper body work and more core work.”
