What would you do with a brand new home? To find out, you’ll have to enter the 2016 Hospice Dream Home Lottery.
This year’s lavish home at the end of Malaspina Avenue at 7630 Creekside Way in College Heights features beautiful decor and four bedrooms for a ‘Cape Cod’ themed cottage vibe. Tickets at $100 each and can be purchased at the Hospice Society Office, Canadian Tire, and Save On Foods in Spruceland Mall.
More than 2,100 of 8,999 tickets have already been sold with all proceeds going to support beds at the Rotary Hospice House says Executive Director of the Prince George Hospice Society, Donna Flood. “We do quite a bit of grief support work for people in the community that are grieving the loss of a loved one, so all of that needs to be funded through community support,” Flood said. “We get minimal funding from the government so we have over a two million dollar budget to provide the care that we do.”
The Dream Home is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The first early bird draw goes Friday night at 8 p.m. with the winner receiving a $2,500 Costco Gift Card. The Grand Prize draw for the home is October 27th and any ticket you buy now will enter you into all early bird draws as well.
