Spruce Kings Continue Roster Overhaul; Ponak Traded To Langley

The Spruce Kings made a move today, continuing to overhaul their roster in preparation for the upcoming season. GM Mike Hawes has traded forward Nic Ponak to the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations. The 6’2, 210 lb power forward completed one season in Prince George, registering 6 goals and 6 assists, along with 27 penalty minutes in 48 games. A veteran of the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds of the BC Major Midget League, Ponak moves closer to his hometown of Abbotsford, and stays in the BC Mainland Division with the Rivermen.
