Local Production Earning Accolades

It’s been nearly a decade since a Prince George production has earned a spot at BC’s Mainstage competition. But next week, local actors will be representing the city at the provincial competition in Chilliwack. To earn money for travel expenses, “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” will run one last time in Prince George, tomorrow night at 8 at Theatre Northwest. After a successful run in Prince George, the production competed at the regional festival in Williams Lake, where it earned a spot in the next round. Soon Pocket Theatre will load up 14 people – and the set – bound for Chilliwack. The competition is happening July 5.
