Injured Dog Needs Community's Help

The Humane Society is hoping local animals lovers will help a dog in need. Alex was hit by a car; even after a rehabilitation effort, his leg needs to be amputated. The surgery will cost $2000, money the charity just doesn’t have. The maremma sheepdog is less than a year old, and his chances of recover are excellent, as long as he gets the amputation. The charity is accepting donations for Alex’s surgery, either at the adoption centre (Unit 12A – 1839 Industrial Cariboo Estates, 1st Avenue), online, or at Ospika Animal Hospital (2380 Ospika Blvd S).
