Members of the Prince George LQBTQ community, supporters in the City of Prince George and the greater area will be out in full force Saturday for the PG Pride Parade.
The parade departs at 11 a.m. from City Hall. Lower Patricia Boulevard & George Street from Lower Patricia Boulevard to 6th Avenue will be closed to traffic until 12:30. The City says many downtown intersections will also experience traffic delays and short term closures during the event, but emergency vehicles will still have access.
The PG Pride Parade festival starts at 10 a.m. outside City Hall and is completely free and open to the public. Last year’s parade recorded an all-time high for participants and spectators with over 1,200 people attending Northern BC’s biggest pride parade.
