Off-Roading In Waterways Hurts Ecosystem

BC is an excellent place for outdoor activities. Several people enjoy the outdoors by driving off-road vehicles. Unfortunately, some irresponsible operators ride through sensitive bodies of water and damage fish habitats. This kind of behavior loosens sediment and potentially kills wildlife living near or in the water. According to the Conservation Officer Service off-roading should be kept to designated trail systems. The Conservation Officer Service would like to remind people who witness this kind of behavior to call 1-877-952-7277 or on the a cell at star 7277.
