The College of New Caledonia has released it’s five year strategic plan. The plan is intended to guide the college’s decision-making through 2020.
The plan identifies five strategic directions including enhancing student experience, integrating Aboriginal culture and knowledge and improving organizational culture.
CNC President Henry Reiser says the plan was finalized following consultations with students, staff and stakeholders. “We have taken the input, advice and direction of our partners seriously, and that information was an essential element in charting a course for our future.”
The strategic planning process began last fall when a steering committee which included college employees and students, began working. The public had a chance to comment on a draft document early this year. Following a series of updates, the plan was approved by the CNC’s Board of Directors in June.
The public can view the document online from the CNC website.
