Murder Charge Laid In Tache Killing

A 33-year-old woman has been charged with second degree murder in a stabbing on the Tache reserve.  It happened early Sunday morning, 65 kilometres west of Fort St James.  The 31-year-old victim was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.  Mounties arrested the suspect and took her into custody.  Provincial Crown Counsel has approved charges against Annie Jean Anatole.  She has been remanded in custody until her next court appearance August 15th.   Police say the two knew each other.
