Two Rivers Gallery is unveiling its newest showcase. A chamber designed by Ian Johnston is a living, breathing representation of waste in our society. This piece has traveled to seven locations across the country, drawing attention to items we often take for granted. The Nelson, BC artist says it evokes the disconnect between the choices we make when we consume. Johnston’s exhibition, called The Chamber, is opening tonight. Eileen Murray will also be on hand to talk about her work, The Sprawl. The public is invited to the free event, where the artist will speak about his work. The event starts at 7:30pm.
