Nechako White Sturgeon Rebounding

If there is a silver lining to the wet weather, it’s that the Nechako River is at ideal water levels for the White Sturgeon. There have been concerns over unseasonably low levels in June. Right now work is underway to assess how the once-endangered fish are doing. Tomorrow we’ll take a look at the initiative’s ambitious plans, to restore the sturgeon to their place in the ecosystem.
