Veteran NHL official Vaughan Rody was in town this week, holding a ProEdge Power Skating and Skills school at the Elksentre. While he knows you can’t completely overhaul a stride or skillset, he points to the game’s greatest players as a reason to bring 100% effort to the rink every day. Rody has been on the ice for over 900 National Hockey League games, as well as playoff matchups and a number of All Stars Games. It is his third trip to Prince George for a ProEdge School, and he notices a work ethic with our local athletes. The Prince George hockey players certainly seem to enjoy his seasoned instruction, as well.
