UNBC Soccer Hoping More Experience Leads To Strong Season

The UNBC’s Men’s Soccer team has opened camp ahead of opening their CIS season later in the month. It’ll be their second campaign under Head Coach Steve Simonson, who has implemented some new philosophies for the Timberwolves. And they feel like momentum is building towards a very good season. The T-Wolves record left something to be desired last year, but their standard of play was much improved. With a tough regular season schedule on the horizon, they know it’s time to step up. They’re still a relatively young squad, but Francesco Bartolillo suggests that can no longer be an excuse, considering the playing time they’ve all received.
