B.C. Coroners Service Identifies Arthur Lake Drowning Victim

The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a drowning victim who died following a fishing incident near Vanderhoof on July 30th.

The male victim is identified as 25 year old, Gregory Teichroeb of Vanderhoof. Teichroeb and his friend were fishing on a four-metre aluminum boat on Arthur Lake, just 64 kilometres south of Vanderhoof. The boat flipped, throwing both into the water. His friend was able to swim to safety, but Teichroeb failed to arrive on shore.

The B.C. Coroners Service is continuing to investigate.
