Mounties are reminding residents to keep an eye out for trouble in their neighbourhood. While summer is beginning to wind down, thieves are continuing to targets residential neighbourhoods throughout the city. Some thieves are hiding stolen items in the tall grass to avoid being caught and then returning for them later. According to the Prince George RCMP there has been 260 B&Es since May 1st. RCMP say one way to protect yourself, is to lock up your valuables and keep them out of the sight of fair weather thieves.
