Cougars Take On Fitness Testing As WHL Camp Begins

The Cougars will open camp this weekend, but first, they were run through vigorous fitness testing today. It’s a good chance to measure the work each player has been putting in over the off-season, as each Cougar looks to make a statement heading into camp. All prospective Cats were run through a number of a cardio exercises, which will surely be crucial in the second half of the season – as the wear and tear of their intense travel schedule starts to rear its ugly head. They were also run though the VO2 test, and captain Sam Ruopp says it’s a tough day, but an important day for each player.
