Spruce City Wildlife Association Has Approval to Hatch Salmon Eggs

After a ten-year hiatus the Spruce City Wildlife Association has approval to hatch over five thousand Chinook Salmon eggs. The goal is to help strengthen the Salmon stocks in our region. The eggs will be collected near Vanderhoof and brought back to the hatchery, where volunteers will raise them to a stage where they can be released back into the Nechako river.
