Pacific Western Brewery is planning to expand on it’s operations in Prince George. With approval from City Council, PWB will take the next steps in pursuing a lounge licence and outdoor special events licence from the Liquor Control and Licencing Branch in Victoria.
The brewery already has a tasting area, where patrons can sample the beer and purchase a single beer. However it’s hoping to attain a new designation which would allow people to not only buy beer and other beverages on site, but also purchase more than one at a time.
PWB is also looking to attain an outdoor special events licence. In it’s application, it hopes to host events outside of school hours. Cedars Christian school is located next door to the brewery on North Nechako Road.
Prince George City Council will look over the request at its meeting Monday evening.
