The Province plans to expand its jobs plan. The plan was created in September, 2011, to diversify and improve B.C.’s economy. The province can now brag it has the strongest economy in Canada, and is forecast to stay that way into the future. BC also has the lowest unemployment rate in the country. The original plan focused on enhancing some of the mainstay industries, such as tourism and forestry, but the minister responsible for that plan has announced changes moving ahead.
