BC Government Signs Agreement With Cheslatta Carrier Nation

It’s been more than six decades since the people of the ‘Cheslatta Carrier Nation’ near Burns Lake were displaced from their homes and cultural sites. The construction of the ‘Kenny Dam’ to supply power to the ‘Rio Tinto Alcan’ aluminum smelter flooded their traditional territory. CKPG’s Mark Villani has more on a framework agreement to make amends for the future.
