Another day, another Cariboo Cougars committing to play hockey at the next level. This time, it’s defenseman Jesse Pomeroy, who will suit up next season with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. The 1999 born blueliner is heading into his third season with the Cariboo boys, after playing the full 40 games in each of his last two years. Standing 6 feet tall and weighing 170 lbs, the mobile defender has registered 33 career points with the Cats, to go along with 10 points in 14 playoff games. Pomeroy figures to play a big role in the Road to the 2017 Telus Cup.
