RCMP Investigating After Football Equipment Stolen

Local Mounties are seeking the public’s help in finding who might be responsible for stealing a large amount of sports equipment.

RCMP received reports on Thursday September 15th of a theft from a ‘C-Can’ steal storage container located at the 2900 block of Griffiths Avenue. The container is on the sports field next to Masich Place Stadium, just below Prince George Secondary School.

Items stolen include:

·       Helmets
·       Footballs
·       Protective pads
·       First aid kits
·       Ice packs
·       Agility ladders
·       Coaching bags
·       Throwing net
·       Stationary supplies

It’s believed the large steal containers was broken into sometime Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning. RCMP also say the person(s) involved would have had to have spent a considerable amount of time in the area.
