For someone just learning the basics of computers or for the tech savvy veteran, the upcoming Tech Week at the Hub Space has something for everyone.
Starting on Wednesday night, kids will be able to learn about gaming and coding culture. On Thursday night, it’s the adults turn to figure out how to code and design different applications.
From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday’s innovation showcase will give businesses a chance to share their ideas and teach others the value of technology to different markets. Finally, Saturday night’s launch party will be a celebration for others to invest in businesses.
Executive Executive Director of Innovation Central, Matt Hutcheon, says the Hub Space events seek to get the community more involved in the tech world. “Technology is becoming more and more a part of everyday life for people and really a critical part of business no matter what kind of business you’re in,” he said. “Part of the hope with these events is to let people be more aware of that and let them feel more comfortable and not be intimidated by new innovations or new developments.”
