Telus Service Cut To Thousands

Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

Telus says it expects to completely restore service to thousands of customers sometime overnight.  The communications giant said a road construction crew accidentally struck a major fibre optic line early Wednesday morning, cutting off service to home, business and wireless customers.  Initially Telus suggested service wouldn’t be restored until Thursday morning.  However it says crews have been able to begin splicing together bundles of cable quicker than expected.
