Sitting last place in the Pacific Division, the UNBC Men’s Soccer Team desperately needed a win on the road Saturday.
Unfortunately their hands would be full against a strong University of Calgary Dinos squad who dominated the T-Wolves by a score of 4-0.
Just three minutes into the contest, Dinos Forward Dominic Russo slid one past T-Wolves Keeper, Mitch MacFarlane. Bori Falaye would add a second goal for Calgary at the 14 minute mark and the Dinos never looked back.
Russo would go on to add a goal in the 80th minute and the 2015 CIS Second Team All-Canadian scored another one in added time to complete the hat-trick.
UNBC falls to 2-7 on the season. The Timberwolves will complete its Alberta road trip with a game against the Mount Royal University Cougars (6-2-1) Sunday at 1:15 p.m.
