Krause Named UBCM President

The Union of BC Municipalities has a new president and the name is familiar. Murry Krause has been named the organization’s new man in charge, after holding the position of Vice-President. Krause has served as a Councillor at the City of Prince George for 17 years including the last 14 consecutively.

Other members of the Executive include Vice President Wendy Booth, a Director with the Regional District of East Kootenay, Kamloops Councillor Arjun Singh as the Second Vice President, and Sooke Mayor Maja Tait  as Third Vice President.  Outgoing President, Al Richmond of the Cariboo Regional District, will remain on the Executive Board for the next year as Past President.
