More High School Disruptions after Online Threats

For the second consecutive day, secondary school classes were disrupted due to online threats. All high schools were placed under Code Yellow on Friday, until the RCMP deemed the threats “non-credible” and “outdated”. Superintendent of Schools District 57, Marilyn Marquis-Forster, says it is unfortunate students learning was impacted, but they must take staff and students safety very seriously. She is calling on the community for support. “We sincerely hope that the community will help in having tricksters recognize that perhaps this isn’t very funny, and it inconveniences a lot of folks and scares people.”
