The Prince George Hospice Society says it’s in need of ticket sales for its upcoming dream home lottery.
Executive Director, Donna Flood says with just two weeks left to go until the big draw, there is still more than two thousand tickets available for purchase. “The dream home lottery is our biggest fundraiser for the hospice and the hospice house and so we rely on the funds that we make from this to actually provider the service that we do,” she said. “We are only partially funded by the government, which is only about 42 per cent, so we look to the community to help us raise the other money.”
The 2418 square foot dream home is located at 7630 Creekside Way in Creekside Properties at the end of Malaspina Avenue in College Heights and is valued at more than 500 thousand dollars.
The Grand prize draw for the home goes October 27th.
