Earlier this year a number of residents and business owners near Queensway and 17th avenue were concerned with the amount of crime in their neighbourhood. Prince George RCMP responded by stepping up patrols and developing partnerships with other government agencies. Last night, police shared their progress with some residents. From the beginning of this year until the end of September, there were 539 calls for service to the area, that’s up from 421 from the same time as last year. RCMP are planning to have another town hall meeting some time next year.
