There seems to be a lack of accountability in the online world, but Social Media Speaker, Jesse Miller, is here to say words count. “For youth themselves, as they are telling their story online a lot of their life is still in draft form. They are testing out their boundaries, figuring out their identity… so the question now for kids is do you want what you posted on the internet in grade 7 and 8 to be your story when you are in University? Your story as you become a parent in your own life?”
Miller visited 3 locations in Prince George on Thursday, reminding kids that while social media gives you the right to communicate a message, you need to be prepared to deal with that message offline.
