Cougars Defeat Royals 4-1 In 'MindRight' Mental Health Awareness Game

The Cariboo Cougars proved Saturday afternoon that if you look good, you feel good.

Wearing special green jerseys as part of the club’s mental health campaign, ‘MindRight,’ the Cougars rolled their way to a 4-1 victory over the South Island Royals.

Four different Cougars players found the back of the net including Devin Sutton, Reid Perepeluk, Joel Patsey, and Daine Bubois. Cariboo Goalie, Marcus Allen made 15 saves to pick up the victory.

The Cougars have now won four games in a row and improve to 8-1 on the season.

South Island and Cariboo will reconvene for the back half of the double-header series 10 a.m. Sunday at Kin1.
