A local hockey product is taking his game to new heights, as Brandon Manning is playing the best hockey of his professional career. The Philadelphia Flyers blueliner, who grew up playing Prince George Minor Hockey, has 5 points in six games this season. His output is way up, after he posted seven points in 56 games last year. The former Cariboo Cougars and Spruce King leads all Flyers defensemen in scoring, and his lone goal this year was an absolute beauty. The 26 year old is also a +4 on the season.
