It’s an aging facility in desperate need of repairs. That’s why the Community Arts Council of Prince George & District has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help raise money for Studio 2880.
The goal is to raise $25,000 in 45 days. Executive Director of the Arts Council, Sean Farrell, says “That’s going to go for some really really necessary immediate repairs and upgrades that our building needs. The part of the complex where our artist work in is in a condition now where it’s actually difficult getting people to come in. There are some safety issues as well.”
The campaign is off to a great start, raising nearly $1000 before it’s launch. To contribute to arts and culture in the community, you can visit the Studio 2880 website.
