School District 57 Transportation Funding

The Province announced $14.7 million dollars in funding to improve transportation services in schools. All 60 school districts will be receiving money from the Student Transportation Fund. School District 57 will see just under $700,000 from the fund. $263,000 of that will go towards ensuring there are no rider fees. About $30,000 will go towards extra curricular travel in Mackenzie, McBride and Valemount. Approximately $20,000 will go towards support and curricular travel in all of the schools as well.
