Over $6000 Raised in "Cuts for Hope"

A young girl lost her hair in her battle against Leukemia, but she didn’t lose it alone. Teachers, students, family members and Prince George residents cut or shaved their hair in support of Olivia Frost.

The 5-year-old has been battling cancer at the BC Children’s Hospital since March. Friends and family describe Olivia as sweet, respectful, amazing, resilient and a very good sister.

While Olivia has been away from her family since Thanksgiving, she knows that Prince George is rallying behind her and other children battling cancer. Her mother, Amanda Frost, says “Her latest saying is that it “melts her heart”. So we FaceTime with her to show her what was happening and she just thought that it was pretty amazing what everyone has been doing.”

Cuts for Hope” raised well over $6000 for the BC Children’s Hospital, Wigs For Kids and juvenile cancer research.
