Whether fascinated or appalled, it seems Canadians are drawn to the U.S. Presidential Campaign. Many of us will tune in for the results on November 8th.
Associate Professor of the UNBC Political Sciences Department, Tracy Summerville, is holding a free event at the Public Library to talk about the U.S. electoral process.
“The Trump nomination has created a really different feel about what’s going on in the U.S. People are certainly asking a lot more questions so it has generated a lot of interest, I don’t know if it has generated interest in the actual process of election…This just gives people the opportunity to get a sense of how that works.”
She invites everyone to drop by the Keith Gordon Room at the Bob Harkins Branch on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Summerville will give an overview of primaries and caucuses, and explain how the Electoral College works.
