Pedestrian Safety Campaign Kicks Off Tomorrow

Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

Pedestrian safety is the focus of a province-wide campaign. Mayor Lyn Hall, RCMP, ICBC and community policing volunteers will be a part of a campaign kickoff, when they hand out free reflectors and tip cards to pedestrians from 7:30 am to 9 am at the Pine Centre Mall bus loop on Massey Drive. It’s the time of year we see a spike in crashes. In Northern B.C., on average, 70 pedestrians are injured in 92 crashes every year.
