Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George received a generous donation. Five community partners teamed up to purchase two 15-seat passenger vans for the organization. The vans will help generate additional revenue for the agency, as well as allow for even better service in programing. President of the local organization, Wende Bracklow, says “That does a lot for our agency. That helps us increase our childcare positions for transportation, and also helps grow our Community Shuttle Program.”
A new three year partnership with BBBSPG will include Tyrod Industries, Integris Credit Union, Save on Foods, Timeline Signs and Electrical and Obsession Automotive and Sales. It is valued at over $75,000.
Finance and Administration employee with Tyrod Industries Ltd., Jamie Kranrod, says “They really fit a need in the community for various programs that they offer. As far as ourselves; an industry, the trades relationship between a journeyman and an apprentice is really the heart of mentoring.”
