Cougars’ Morrison Named To WHL Team To Face Russians

Jansen Harkins won’t be the only Cougar representing the WHL against Team Russia, Monday at the CN Centre. Today, it was announced Brad Morrison would also don the Western Hockey League logo. The 19 year old, who is also a Cariboo Cougars product, is a 4th round pick of the New York Rangers in 2015. In 218 career WHL games – all with the Cougars – he has registered 71 goals and 85 assists. Morrison currently sits 15th all-time in franchise scoring and 16th all-time in goals. This year, the flashy forward is pacing the Cats with 20 points in 17 games. Internationally, he represented Canada at the 2013 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge where he helped lead them to a Silver medal.
