You may remember last week’s story around the successful search for missing hunters from Quesnel. One of the missing hunters was a ten year old boy. As a result of Carter Abrams’ adventure, he missed Halloween night. But Quesnel Mounties made up for it when they invited the youngster to wear his Halloween costume for a tour of the detachment. Inside every office were treats that had been set aside for him, allowing him to experience Halloween, just a few days late.
Carter and his step father Glen went missing on a hunting trip when their truck broke down. Along with their dog LeRoy, they walked 40 kilometres until they were spotted by searchers. No one was injured through the ordeal.
