Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News

The Rotary Club flag has been raised in front of City Hall this week to recognize a key anniversary. The Rotary Foundation turns 100 this year. That’s a century of helping Rotary members change lives and improve communities all over the world. There are an estimated 1.2 million Rotarians across the planet and about 150 in three clubs in Prince George. Internationally, Rotary played a major role in combatting polio. Locally, Rotarians have been heavily involved in funding major projects ranging from the youth soccer fields to the water spray park at Lhedli Tenneh Memorial Park.
